This isn’t too far from where I work … the food isn’t really that great, but the view is nice. It’s basically a Hooters knock-off that serves burgers instead of wings. For my ‘heart attack’ lunch, I prefer a good Italian beef sandwich (there’s an Arizona chain called Luke’s that is the best I’ve ever had).

i love how you libertarians fawn over a place like this that promotes shitty health and ‘personal choice’, yet when one of the fatties that eats here starts draining on society, you complain.

I think you’ll find that libertarians were against taxpayers picking up the tab for people’s unhealthy choices long before the current crusades against smokers and fat people were even conceived.

We know that making the government (ie: taxpayers) pay the costs of some people’s poor choices results in government dictating how all people live. Nothing proves that quite like the popularity of the current campaigns to persecute people based on their life styles. As government pays a larger share of that, the behavioral mandates will increase. Staying healthy eventually becomes a patriotic duty. The new face of freedom.

By the way, we don’t fawn over places that promote “shitty health”. We fawn over people who don’t cave into the mentality that everyone should think alike and value the same things.

The people who hold liberty in lowest regard are those who already have it.
