Mississippi DA Gives Up Law License
Wednesday, January 7th, 2009I guess it’s generally a good thing that former Mississippi District Attorney Ed Peters won’t be practicing law anymore.
It’s just revealing of the state’s priorities that a trial lawyer-tinged bribery scandal is what finally forced him to give up his license—not the fact that he conspired with a judge and another prosecutor to keep an innocent man in prison for 12 years.

The link in the first comment does not work.
Peters gave up his license rather than defend the bar charges against him. He is in serious trouble.
