Well that is good news. If they keep putting people like this on a sex offender registry, the list will soon lose its meaning. A sex offender registry, which i detest the idea of anyway but it is the new modern witch hunt, shouldnt be meant for this kind of case.
From the article:
“Whitaker, 29, is on the sex-offender registry for having oral sex with a high school classmate three weeks before his 16th birthday. Whitaker had just turned 17. She pleaded guilty to sodomy and received five years’ probation.”
This isnt even a crime in the state i live in. This would have been a completely legal act.
“Did the boy involved run around bragging about it and then his mother got wind of it and declared “my poor baby has been raped?”
Do I smell A civil suit in the making?

“She is grateful she will be able to stay in her home for the Thanksgiving holiday and thereafter while the case is being litigated.”
And I am grateful too. Perhaps she found a judge that wasn’t a priggish moralist. Or, maybe the judge was just overwhelmed by the holiday spirit. Happy Holidays, Ms. Whitaker, and Happy Thanksgiving to Radley and readers of the Agitator. On days like this, its important to reflect on what is truly important in life–I mean besides gluttony–and to stop to appreciate small steps towards progress wherever we find them.
