Thursday, November 20th, 2008I didn’t really get the chance to get too far from my hotel at the reason event last weekend. But here are a few pics from around and from the roof of the Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard. I liked the convergence of signs in the Scientology picture. Also, the sad, unattended Liberty Motel. The photo below is looking down Hollywood Boulevard from the top of the hotel, with a 10-second shutter delay.

Eve more sad is the fact Musso’s has to have steel anti-riot doors, and has other signs of Diversity. My parents took us to Musso’s once a week when I was a young’un; their filet of sole was incredible. The place also had a wonderful wooden storm-lobby front with not even a trace of vandalism.
