• Here’s a bit more detail on taxes and the final table winners at the 2008 World Series of Poker’s main event.  Looks like champ Peter Eastgate may try to claim residency in the UK, where he’d pay no tax at all.

• The family of Gonzalo Guizan, the 33-year-old unarmed man killed in a Connecticut drug raid earlier this year, has filed lawsuit. I hope they get a lot of money.  The police are typically stonewalling, but the more we learn about that raid, the uglier it looks.

Esquire picks the eight best features from the magazine’s 75-year history.  I’m a big fan of the magazine.  Lots of competition for those eight slots.

• So I’ve laughed at the site, too.  And I’m as opposed to dumb lawsuits as any good libertarian.  But I can’t help but think this guy has a legitimate beef.  I mean, unless he really is a douchebag.

Speaking of douchebags… What great news.  Now, Alaska, about that airport…

Anybody else see that 8-year-old’s double murder “confession” videotaped by the police? Pretty amazing they would realease it as damaging as it is to them.

If this guy is suing a website because they called him a douche bag, then he just producing convincing evidence that he really is a douche bag. Although I would like to know what he did originally to earn the title in the first place.

As for the Airport. I think there should be a 10 year or so moratorium on naming any public building for any politician living or dead.

You like that election result in Alaska, eh Radley?

I guess that means you’ll just love the veto-proof Democrat-controlled Senate as they rape and pillage your net worth over the next two years, too.
