Other Races

• It looks like Oliver Diaz, Jr. will lose his bid for reelection to Mississippi’s Supreme Court.  That’s really too bad.

•  Drug warrior Mark Souder will win in Indiana.

•  Bright spots?  Medical marijuana won in Michigan, and marijuana decriminalization won in Massachusetts.

•  Saxby Chambliss on his way to winning in Georgia.

how about Obama winning Indiana? Unbelievable. I voted barr there, so I’m wondering how close it was.

The gay marriage ban (Prop 8) in California looks like it’ll pass. All of our other bond measures, except 12 (for Calvet housing loans) went down in flames. What’s really odd about the voting is that Prop 2 about standards for confining farm animals is probably going to pass. So, CA voters voted all over the map on Tuesday.

Pointless victory? Anyhow, its nice to see it on record – We Arkansas also approved a much needed lottery – you wouldn’t believe how big a hurdle this was – Next up – the end of Dry Counties

I’m glad to see Prop 2 passed here in MA, though I must admit not only am I surprised that it did, but resoundingly (65%).

Radley, you pretty much predicted the electoral votes for the election, but missed the House/Senate by about half. Not bad.
