Amazon Associates Question

So you may notice on the left there that I’ve started on Amazon store, where I recommend books, music, movies, and various other odds n’ ends.  I’ve been building out the store for a few months.  If you buy something I recommend, I get a little cut from Amazon for the referral.

Here’s my question, for those of you familiar with the system:  The code Amazon gives for the ad on my site only pulls items from the “books” category.  Anyone know how I can tweak it so it randomly pulls items from my entire store?  Also, is there a way to randomize the order of the items in the store, so the same items don’t always come up first when people click through?

    I’ve been trying to start an Amazon store for months now. The aStore code doesn’t work properly in Drupal. I think it’s Drupal’s funky JavaScript support. They do have a plugin that’s supposed to correct JavaScript support issues, but the last time I installed it, I broke my site, so I’m apprehensive about going that route again.

    So, until I figure it out, I’m advertising the Kindle, and I’ll probably throw a link to the aStore into my header.

    No idea, but I’m vaguely surprised by “Best American…” My pal Bob Atwan lives down the road, we just had a noir film night. Weird man.
