That poor lady. Wasn’t she expecting at the time, and succumbed to a sudden, unexpected … ah, digestive paroxysm? We have five children, and my dear wife Korrin has had her share of close calls with this sort of embarrassment.
That being said, yes, this is terribly funny, even though I sort of hate myself for laughing as hard as I do. Korrin laughed just as hard, of course, but since she’s been through this I think she’s entitled to do so.
This is in response to Will’s posting: If you watch the video again, the closed captioning said she was having painful menstruation (period) so I HIGHLY doubt it was pregnancy related unless the closed captioning was incorrect.
You know, it looks and sounds like she had plenty of room in the studio to place the blast for the least possible disgusting effect except perhaps to the odd cable laying about. I thought she did a a pretty good job with that.
Aside from the language, it is obvious that this did not happen in the US. Just the nonchalance of discussing such a menstrual problem would be unheard of here in our extra-prudish culture.
Watch daytime network television lately? There’s certainly no shortage of discussion of menstrual issues, herpes, erectile disfunction, or any number of issues related to eating and digestion.

Most of which is discussed through euphemism, to sell a drug, or as a punchline to a joke.
LMAO!
The subtitle SBLUAAARRRUUGHERV is the best part. Props to the closed captioner.

If only this had happened in the debates.
I love the internets.
As Gabriel said, the close captioning makes the clip.

“Woooh!!”

Ahcuah,

Tara —
D’oh! I didn’t watch the entire clip; I’ve only made it just past the, uh, money shot, as it were.
Mea culpa.
That’s the kind of work ethic I like to see.
She might not have wanted to admit she was preggers and made up the “menstruation” excuss.
