No way it’s real. For one thing, it’s actually Catholic doctrine that nonhuman animals lack souls. The “argument,” however, suggests that the Catholics are the one saying dogs go to Heaven.
I’m unaware of any specific Presbyterian doctrine concerning canine ensoulment.
Every leaf is the same, and the camera angles and frames are identical. It’s simple photoshopping, as numerous people pointed out on the LiveJournal Atheism forum a few weeks ago.

Reminds me of a similar war of signs between a church and the pub on the opposite side of the road. The pub eventually published a book of photos of the sign war.
This was a good natured game of one upsmanship that both sides were obviously having fun at. The publican generally had the better quips.
