Well, since the government sponsors the Yankees (the state and city are paying for their new stadium, the feds are paying by making the bonds tax-exempt), why shouldn’t they sponsor Man United as well?
Sweet can I score me some free tickets now that I am part owner?

Exactly, Lee, new national agenda:
-get me in the sponsor’s box for a Champions league match
-run some sort of passport shenanigans to get their youth team players on the US men’s team

But… but… I hate Manch United. Next you’re going to tell me I’m the primary sponsor of the Yankees, Colts Pistons and Montreal Canadiens. :(
What’s a principle sponsor? Why do principles need sponsors?
Regards, Don
Wow! A Spelling flame! Cool!
Of course we sponsor the Yankees of the Premier League. Couldn’t we bail out Carlsberg?

I think what our national football team really needs is a new stadium, don’t you?

Speaking of the Colts, may I say I admire Mr. Balko’s professionalism in not touching upon the Tom Brady matter with extreme gloating?
/’Cuz I’d be.
Eric – I think that, given Liverpool’s past experiences with American ownership, us taking over their sponsor would cause riots.
soccer. tchah! how can you trust a sport where they don’t fall on a loose ball!?
Does that mean I can bend it like Beckham? Oh wait no, he’s playing for the LA Galaxy now. Shoot.
