Turns out that prior to crashing, it had been frequently used by the CIA to fly suspected terrorists to Guantanamo, and may have been used for rendition flights to black sites.
MORE: Mark Frauenfelder has much, much more. Note the comments: The private company the plane was registered to–Donna Blue Aircraft–pulled its website down sometime yesterday, and looks to be a front company.
Let’s not jump to conclusions. I’m sure that any government connection is purely coincidental. The government of the United States of America, land of the free and home of the brave, would not tarnish it’s unbroken history of uncompromising integrity by getting mixed up in any activities that couldn’t easily stand up to the most intense public and media scrutiny.

I’d expect that whoever implemented their website probably followed a basic recipe for web design … including hosting services. At the bottom of the Donna Blue page remnants is a link reading, “Web site designed & hosted at Homestead”

Just quibbling but I wish people would learn wtf rendition means. That and the flagrant and unnecessary use of “neocon” piss me off.
Hmm… is about all you can say at this point. I see reason to be suspicious that the plane is CIA owned and operated, but no proof.
If incontrovertible evidence emerges that shows the plane belongs to the CIA and they are using it to run drugs to America…now THAT would be big fun!

Re: the video. That’s not anything close to a G-II. Nose too short, wing not swept, and not a T tail.
This sounds too much like a deliberate spoof to me. If you don’t think the pros are good at what they do, (and they rely on that) you’ll never find the right rabbit hole. And a technology mall corporation with the initals DBA (doing business as….) is a dead give away that you ain’t on the right track. This is like registering at a hotel under the name Ford Honda. Only a journalist ‘hot on the trail’ won’t notice that the name is, ummm, odd.
I’m not saying that there isn’t something funny going on, but I’d bet it isn’t an Intel group doing it.
(And: Beck is right. I was there in the AC-ECW usenet trenches when Hopsicker was just another scatterbrained nitwit who’d believe and re-promote the most credulous of “fall-back propaganda” nonsense during the Clinton Body Count years, a minor industry that quickly developed its own legs as a self-perpetuating delusional state sans any further involvement by actual intel-types.
