What sort of democracy does Senator McCain plan on leading if he can cite, in support of his claim to not have to withdraw troops from Iraq if he doesn’t want to, that he disagrees with what the majority of the American people want? Disagreements between citizens of a country occur, and the founders of this country recognized that. However, they also recognized that deference to a capricious dictator is the antithesis of fair and honest policy. If Senator McCain truly believed that all men were created equal, then he stop defending his own personal policy and start endorsing the will of the citizens of this country.
I almost feel sorry for the republicans (but not quite!)
Few among their base are genuinely pleased with their wishy-washy, milk toast moderate nominee
Their convention will be held in the shadows of 15,000 angry Paulbots who don’t hesitate to remind them how McBush has thrown the constitution under the bus
Their best bet as a campaign strategy is to try and brainwash folks into believing that Barack leads an islamofascist sleeper cell and Michelle’s neck tattoo reads, “Kill Whitey!”
They face a tremendous challenge between now and November in getting enough fat asses off of their couches to avoid an embarrassing loss.
So I figured I’d help out their futile efforts and (more importantly) maybe turn a buck or two…
Courtesy of it’s magnetic surface on one side, from now until November the innovative and practical John McCain Turnout Tool can be useful for hanging notes on your refrigerator and reminding you of the primary reason to vote for the RNC’s nominee.
But that’s not all!
In November, it becomes even more useful! It allows you the use of both hands while voting, freeing you of the inconvenience of holding your nose while hanging your chad.
Hey all you party-loyal Republicans! If you liked our Ron Paul Revolution Suppositories, you’ll love these clothespins!
(But please! Stick them only on your refrigerator!)
Balko better get his cool-aid ready, a new poll shows a statistical tie in MINNESOTA. That’s right, The Peoples Republic of Minnesota. But I guess he’ll need Minnesota because BO will be winning Indiana. (snicker)
Chapman, the majority of American people want free money from the government too … I don’t ever want a President who always does what the most recent poll says the ‘majority’ wants.
I don’t see this video as ‘damning’ as I’m sure a lot of you folks do, but of course I don’t ‘follow the line’ when it comes to libertarians’ opinions on Iraq. And that 100 years comment is soooo taken out of context.

A lot of us aren’t “following the line” in our opinions, though that is an easy way of dismissing arguments without addressing them.
If you actually think that the opinions and statements make by McCain in that video don’t disqualify him to be commander-in-chief, I’m not sure what to say. I’ve said it other threads, but I’ll repeat it here: I can understand not voting for Obama, but I cannot understand voting for a demonstrably dishonest fool like McCain.
wow, just wow.
Wow. That is really effective.
Mr. Lewison has accomplished in 9.5 minutes what the MSM will fail to do in 9 months of a campaign season.

[...] video (via The Agitator) thoroughly documents John McCain’s long trail of cluelessness when it comes to [...]
