KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A no-knock raid at a Kansas City home on Wednesday ended with a cop being shot to death.

Homeowner said he found trespassers in the home at 58th Street and Highland Avenue.

Homeowner said a cop approached him and was acting violent, so the he shot it.

No arrests were made.

While I’d like to condemn the retalitory sentiment, it really is about time they learn to quit kicking in the doors of American Citizens for any and every petty excuse.

It serves as intimidation, and it's also obviously a power issue- "hah-hah, I can kill your dog and you can't do nothin!! Cower before me, puny little citizen." I can understand shooting a rotweiler (spelling?) or a pitbull that's got ahold of your leg. However the policy seems to be to shoot any dog on sight and claim it was "endangering the officer"-- even if it's a little lap puppy just yapping away. They seem to like killing dogs.
