The number two guy at Atlanta PD did not get the police chief job in Winston-Salem.

    I wonder how many “anonymous” letters the WSPD received about his actions in Atlanta? Not saying there were any mind you but perhaps we should keep an eye on this guy’s career for a bit.

    I didn’t see anything about Johnston in the local media, nor even make the connection myself until seeing the original post here. I’d like to think that bungling the Johnston matter played some role in Dreher being denied the job (or the same one in Charolotte before), or at least in the fact that Dreher seems to be looking so hard for job outside Atlanta, but I’d be lying if I said I had any evidence to show either.
