Before removing it, you need to fiddle with the catheter to deflate the ball, otherwise you'll be pulling a golf ball through your urethra. I can't see a cop bothering. I hope this guy had a catheter without the inflatable bit. Where are the grandstanding politicians, who are so happy to jump on every isolated incident of something going wrong to increase government power with blanket pronouncements of legislation? Where are the 'leaders' coming forward and promising that this stuff WON'T happen? Or is it just to the point where people don't count unless they are a lobbying group? Really, that's what gets so disheartening: that there really isn't anyone in the government - the collective body that's supposed to treat people equally, the body that's supposed to safeguard people against abuses like this - that even seems concerned about this.
