These stories regarding "Dr." Hayne have been appalling.

I'm mistrustful of our justice system when it's working "legitimately".

What I haven't heard yet is what is the motivation for these prosecutors, to create a crime where there was none to begin with? What stats are they trying to juke?

I know Mississippi is poor and desperate, so how do they profit off of these actions?
What are the stats on white vs. black prosecution where Dr. hayne's evidence came into play?

"Rep. Bob Evans’ amendment that would have withheld funding from the entire Department of Public Safety..."

Obv the second half of the amendment involved using that money to open more restaurants.

I'm glad your hard work is paying off Radley. What a shame that funding is short for a function as vital to public health and safety as medicolegal death investigation. Your investigation has shown that incompetence in forensics can be harmful to the dead and living alike, so there is really no excuse to shortchange ME's and Crime Labs! But, as always, there's always enough money around to escalate the drug war and build more prisons.

I hope they're right. A small step in the right direction is still a step I guess. Good job staying on top of these a-holes.
