This was a great article Radley – top-notch reporting.

Fantastic article. We need some effective way to punish wrongdoing by courts, cops, and prosecutors. It has become a big problem, all the while undermining confidence that ours is a system of “justice”.

That was a very moving and upsetting article… well done, because it is a situation that should evoke much more outrage than it has.

It’s one of many cases that crumbles the very basis of our justice system, the core of our society.

Thank you for writing it so well.

I just finished reading this in the print version over the weekend and was appalled by what happened, and how such a miscarriage of justice has bankrupted that family. Is there some sort of fund to help pay for their legal expenses?

About the only recourse would be to write the story (or get a ghostwriter to do so) as a screenplay and sell it to Hollywood.
Demonize the guilty and/or malfeasant parties.
