Jefferson Arrest Update
Sunday, April 13th, 2008She is out and fine, now.
She was apparently charged with “interfering with an agency function,” which to me sounds like a catch-all they can trot out which actually means, “she pissed off a cop.”
MORE: Two things I haven’t yet mentioned — she was sober. And the Memorial is open 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
YET MORE: I was asked to take the video down and reedit it so it doesn’t include the names of the two people interviewed in it–because they could be witnesses. Should be back up in the next day or so.

What, Radley, it’s not good enough that you tend to get me all riled up and upset on Monday, you had to do it on Sunday this time?
The sadder thing isn’t the fact that it happened, it’s the “meh” or “the police were right” attitude that I fear most people outside of the libertarian blogosphere would have regarding this story.
If there is another such flash mob, please give the word. I live a bit north of Baltimore and I’d love to come down with these: http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/a0f3/
