When I was in college, I knew an idiot who whited out the identifying headers and footers in a World Book Encyclopedia article and turned in a photocopy as his “paper.” Everybody said his dad was some friggin’ gillionaire in Chicago who had to buy Sonny Boy’s way into the University of Arkansas because he was too stupid to get in anywhere else. I remember the guy’s first and last names, but I don’t know if his middle initial is W.

I would’ve done the same thing, only I’d have copied it from Harvard. Of course, I’d have done it as a joke, or Easter Egg, to see if anyone would find it, and for it’s value in irony.
