That's the silliest picture of my dog I've ever seen. Adopting her was one of the smartest things we've ever done. She came with all her shots, fully house-broken and well socialized. Plus, she's adorable!

People were showing of their rescued dogs on radley's other post about 'dogs in danger'.
So i wanted to show off mine.
I rescued Roxy in Nevada 5 years ago. She is such a good dog, I have saved a blood sample in the hopes that someday I will be able to clone her. (just kidding, but if someone knows how to do that, let me know)

Cute... I have been thinking about adopting a non-puppy next year. Puppies are cute as hell and I love them, but they're a big time commitment if you want them to not defecate on your rug.

Beautiful! And what a great site, too, even if I can't look at it for long. We saved our chocolate lab, Bear, from certain death in November '05 (he was in the last days of an extended shelter stay (the "new hope program")), and it was the best decision we've ever made. I can't imagine life without him.

Keep up the great work!
