I think Overmeyer and Malloy are gone. It wouldn’t suprise me if Whitaker took Malloy’s place. Cook is too hot and will make it to final 12 and maybe final 6.

I don’t give a damn what you blog about you will always have street cred with me.

Overmeyer very well may be the one to go. Her song choice was worse than terrible and her hair gave me nightmares. Even white trash has limits.

But as they say, keeping it real and being very honest with you, I am not very impressed with any of the Idols this year. There certainly is not a Carrie Underwood among them.

I like Overmeyer, but she’s has already shown her hand. Nothing new will come from her. She needs a Southern Rock band or tribute band to pick her up. Not Idol material. Would fade faster than “Soul Patrol”….

Brooke is the new Carly Simon. Unfortunately, that means she’d be relegated to VH-1 Classic during the early Sunday morning hours. Love the song, though.

Ramile was swallowed whole by her song. She’d do well entering a National Karaoke Contest, but wouldn’t sell many records if recorded.

Carly & Syesha are about it in the talent pool. The rest will get skimmed.

Is it me, or is this batch of contestants just weak? They could easily go to 10 total from these last few days. Perhaps that should happen so Idol doesn’t roll too far into baseball season. First time we actually have no favorites and are rooting for nobody. Maybe America is just Idol’d out…

I agree with your reviews completely, but you’re totally wrong on who’s going home. It has to be Overmeyer and the chick who “sang” Magic Man.

I think Overmeyer needs to go. She relied too much on the band and her head-banging, obvious ploys to cover up the fact that she was having trouble with that song.

And I agreed with Simon, the hair was horrible!!!
