Yes, obviously the Commissioner’s office wants nothing more than to undermine the integrity of their sport by letting cheaters prosper and obviously the Patriots (who went 19-1 after they were no longer taping) were built entirely on a foundation of lies. Obviously this scandal is threatening to bring down our entire way of life by usurping the point spreads on NFL games. Obviously if Congress weren’t involved the entire future of Western Civilization would teeter on the brink of extinction had Arlen Specter not intervened on our behalf.

Or maybe Specter’s just pissed because he’s a Steelers fan.

Pro Sports, the Bread and Circus we’ve come to rely on for our identity as a nation. Fiddle while it burns, please Arlen, you could use some music to go with your republic’s barbecue.

It’s mind blowing that Jon Stewart is the primary major-media government watchdog. Thank god for him though.

I wish I could laugh and make fun of these idiots the way Jon Stewart does- I get so aggravated to see the humor in these absurdities. I become a bigger fan of his all the time.

That’s a very funny confluence of recent events, but Jon is still a bloviating gasbag.

Althgouh, none of this really matters anymore because it’s pretty obvious that Belichick and Brady can not beat a Manning.

Eagles fan, according to the Boston Herald.

At least someone is being investigated for spying on Americans, not the someone I would recommend, but it is a start.

[...] The Daily Show, Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) demonstrates the complete uselessness of the Senate by being more concerned over the destruction of taped football practices than over the destruction of C… because the Patriots beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl a few years back. And speaking of New [...]
