I'd put my 2 dogpound rescue mutts up against any of those purebreds for looks, intelligence, loyalty, disposition and temperment. And to be quite honest...some of those breds are just downright ugly and hard to look at. I find the whole idea of dog shows somewhat silly and am convinced that the majority of people that participate really aren’t much different than the people portrayed in the movie “Best in Show”.

I’d put my 2 dogpound rescue mutts up against any of those purebreds for looks, intelligence, loyalty, disposition and temperment. And to be quite honest…some of those breds are just downright ugly and hard to look at.

Dog shows like this are terrible because they promote breeding toward a physical ideal rather than vigorous, healthy and useful dogs.
