Late Night Video
Thursday, January 24th, 2008Been out of commission today with a migraine. To make it up to you, here’s video of a baby farting.
My dog actually does the same thing. She’s getting gassy in her old age (Harper–Isabel is gassy in her young age). What’s funny is that she’ll be asleep on the floor, then pass some gas. The noise then wakes her up, scares her, and causes her to jump up and run to the other side of the room. One day I’ll capture it on video, and she’ll be a YouTube star.

It’s funny you mention that. My dog (a 10 year old, 3 pound Pomeranian) does the same exact thing. It’s hilarious!

Until about eight years ago, I regularly got migraine headaches that would utterly incapacitate me: I would be overwhelmed by nausea, and the world would appear to be off-kilter by about five or six degrees. So I can sympathize with you.
As to that poor, traumatized little angel….
My wife and I have five children, each of the last four arriving about two years after his/her predecessor. Yet for all of the frequent weirdness that attends a family our size, I have NEVER seen anything like the event captured in that priceless video!
Someone is going to find that video 20 years from now and hate her father, lol.

I get the occasional migraine. It’s an interesting sensation to have a headache so bad that the pain actually causes nausea.
My dog’s gas (9-year-old mutt - mostly pit bull and lab, we think) is silent but deadly.

As I tell people who don’t understand the pain involved…
I’d shoot myself… but it would make too much noise.
Thankfully, i have a doctor who is not afraid to prescribe narcotic pain meds.. as I am one of the oh so lucky ones for whom triptans don’t work worth a damn.
My dog just belches a lot.

My 7-month old doesn’t frighten herself but she will sometimes look around and wonder who made that awful noise, then grin when she realizes it was her.
