   As a rule, I despise power ballads (excepting Judas Priest’s “Out in the Cold”). I much prefer Cinderella’s “Fire and Ice” or “Falling Apart at the Seams.”

   I remember trying to win tix to the Bon Jovi-Cinerella tour stop in H-town from the local radio station. We didn’t have the new fangled tone dialers with redial, so it was hell dialing an 800 number over and over with a rotary. All to impress the girls.. (note: I did not win the tix, the girl, or recover from the severe damage to my dialing finger).

   Of course, I coulda just BOUGHT the tix…
