There's no way of knowing for sure whether or not the officer used the language he's alleged to have used, but your reasoning suggests that it's impossible for police officer to be a "certifiable moron," when there are numerous examples of certifiable morons working at all levels in law enforcement (and probably every other profession, as well).</description>

Yet another well planned and executed drug-raid.  Professional?  I think not.  





&lt;em&gt;Jones' girlfriend, Kimberly Edwards, 30, will face a drug possession charge. Her 5-year-old daughter - who is not Jones' daughter - has been released to a local family member. The two were in a second bedroom when the shooting took place.&lt;/em&gt;



These "professionals" couldn't wait out a 350 lbs. man.  He's got to eat and the "professionals" probably could have grabbed him at his local fast food drive-thru window no shots fired, no lives placed in jeapordy.

Surveillance, thats for losers.  Guns, CS and flash-bangs thats "professional".   

I would love to know what the judges who sign off on these warrants are thinking, or are they.

		<description>I dunno--I'm a little less troubled by this raid than others. I mean, it's fine to say they could have taken him coming out of the house, but that opens up the possibility that he'd escape back into the house, take a hostage, notice the police presence before even leaving, be tipped off to it by neighbors/friends, etc. To me, the problematic raids are the ones where the chances of violent resistance are nill, or the cops didn't bother to verify that the dude they're looking for actually, you know, &lt;i&gt;lives&lt;/i&gt; at the house they're raiding.</description>

How do you clearly identify yourself to someone who is sleeping in a presumably dark room in the middle-of-the-night?  Plus, I wouldn't trust anyone in my room in the middle-of-the-night to actually be who they said they were (except maybe my husband).</description>
