Lima PD Pulls Animated SWAT Image
Friday, January 11th, 2008The GIF of a SWAT cop gunning down website visitors has been removed from the website of the SWAT team that recently gunned down a mother of six and wounded her one-year-old son.
Say Uncle also discovers that Lima PD’s use of the image may have violated copyright law.
Perhaps we should send the SWAT team in to Lima’s police department headquarters to combat its disregard for intellectual property.

They charged DJ Drama with the RICO act? That’s pretty dumb, seeing as racketeering usually requires a group or organization, not an individual. Also, the word racketeering, or racket, comes to us from the Italian ricattare, meaning blackmail. I doubt that DJ Drama was blackmailing anyone.

The RICO act suit needs to be brought against named individuals, who are presumed part of a larger organization. I don’t know about this particular individual’s situation, but if you are filing a RICO suit, you don’t sue the government, you sue named officials, individually, in the government.
