		<description>On average, &quot;public servants&quot; don&#039;t have to work as hard in their daily duty as privately employed people. I&#039;ve done some minor contracting work, and I&#039;ve seen contractors forced to work far harder to keep the government running than the actual &quot;civil servants&quot; had to work. It was a real eye-opener for me, seeing my manager forced to stay at the office, working until 1-2AM, even though he was a single parent, while the government employees responsible on their end went home to their families. (And yes, my manager was a very competent engineer)</description>
