It's likely that Americans want a Democrat to focus upon domestic issues more than anything else in this next election, but the Dems are giving the election back to Republicans by their efforts.

It should be a wake up call to Democrats everywhere that neither presumption nor ignorance can or will win this race.

The Democratic front-runners are Barak Obama, and his plan to bring about God's kingdom on earth using Federal government power, Hillary Clinton, and her legacy of supporting neocon militarism, or John Edwards, supporter of school bussing.

If Clinton thinks Obama is a liberal, she's stone blind. The last thing liberal thing the Democrats did was the 21st Amendment. There are precious few liberals in either major party. But yes, I do applaud Obama for standing up for the rights of the accused (just as I jeer him for the Patriot Act).

If we legalize drugs, the Latin American gangs will just turn to something else. Like foie gras.

And people usually forgets what the drug war does to people living in Latin America. ALL the major criminal groups in the continent gets their money from drug dealing.

It´s insane.

Many have in the past decade inferred that pro or con, Hillary was "just a Clinton" - or iow, "Vote for her and you get Bill Clinton again".

In fact, it seems that she's far less a female version of Bill as she is a female version of John Kerry - another ex-prosecutor horribly out of touch with the vast majority of Americans adversely impacted by the policy of drug Prohibition and all it's attendant criminal justice faults.

I only hope I can bring my Beloved Spousal Unit away from her firm stance to support Hillary despite almost any complaint on her (HC's) notable policy positions.

Funny isn't it. Dr. Paul is the ONLY candidate who actually has a proposal towards drugs that would benefit the whole population.
Drop the damn drug war, de-criminalize. ( and if the USA follows true to form, cartelize and tax just like the USA did after the last failed moralizers amendment when the Fed, state and local govts suddenly were seeing bankruptcy during the Great Depression.
Then suddenly demon al cohol ( another islamic terrorist group almost as evil as al Gebra ) became the governments money fix.
And the numbers do suggest that decriminalizing drugs would have a disproportionate benefit to the black population as far as prison habitation numbers.
I think if one tracks back her contributors, Hillary does get substantial funding from the Private-prison industry. Without mandatory long drug sentences where would this industry obtain its slave labour?

HRC, NYS's carpet bagging junior senator is not a "leader" she is an sycophant establishment shill who pines for the continuation of the imperical status quo. All one need do is to look at HRC's voting record since becoming a member of the 107th US Congress.

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (NY)</a> her record vote record speaks for itself.

My guess is that even on abortion she wants more government, but in this case subsidies instead of restrictions.
