I would say the fear of getting beat by an adult while in a Muni/State/Fed setting would certainly qualify as a reason for a cam phone. Corporal punishment is too severe, but lets take this out back kiddo. I'm sure the school will try to fit "obstruction' into its languange in order to prepare our youth for the police state. If you want to ban cell phones to prevent students from recording the bad behavior of th faculty, you need to wait a while after the incident and ban them under the cover of some other purpose(preventing cheating, etc).
