Greenpeace has apparently “adopted” a whale. They’re holding an online poll to name it. Of the 30 suggested names, 29 are lofty-sounding monikers borrowed from various ethnological mythologies, foreign languages, and environmental activists.

The 30th is “Mister Splashy Pants.”
