So I guess this is official now.

Matt Welch is taking over as editor-in-chief of the magazine, and Nick Gillespie will be running both the reason.com and reason.tv websites. I’ll be writing and editing full-time for the magazine.

The changes work out very nicely for me. I’ll be spending more time writing and reporting long-form articles, and no longer doing day-to-day website stuff.

And of course, I’m looking forward to working with Matt, a great guy whose writing I’ve long admired.
