Another story of a terror investigation gone horribly wrong. This one has it all. Overreacting investigators at all levels, PATRIOT Act abuses, SWAT teams, and red-faced federal prosecutors who then trumped up some charges to cover their asses. The result: Two scientists (one also an artist) looking at prison time for a minor, clerical error that should have at most been a civil matter. Much more here.
