Incidentally, a Ron Paul staffer has promised me an appointment to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms should Paul be elected to the White House. I’d like to think that come 2009, in some alternative universe, reason is hosting its monthly happy hours in the gaudy new building on New York Avenue.
