Andrew Sullivan got married this weekend (congrats!). And we now learn that just a couple of weeks ago, staunch conservative, anti-gay U.S. Senator Larry Craig (R-Idaho) was arrested for “lewd conduct” in a public male bathroom.

Coincidence? I think not! We must end gay marriage now! It’s time to stop committed, loving gay couples from devoting their lives to one another before even one more honest, clearly hetero Republican gets caught up in the slippery, downward spiral to Gomorrah, and finds himself arrested for soliciting gay sex in public.

Please. Stanley Kurtz was right. Won’t someone think of the Republicans?
