Reading Reddit
Thursday, August 2nd, 2007Just an observation. And a bit of good news. Over the last year or so, Reddit has become much less a tech site and more of a political site. And over the last few months, more and more of my stuff seems to show up over there. In fact, I’ve had three stories on the “What’s Hot” page in the last week, a couple of which hit the top five. All were criminal justice outrage cases (including today’s piece on Dr. West).
I point this out not to boast (okay, maybe a little), or to encourage you to register at Reddit and vote my stuff up (okay, maybe a little), but to note that it’s encouraging that some of this stuff is resonating so well with the tech-savvy.
Reddit also refers a massive amount of traffic (though not here — all the links of late have gone to the reason site). In any case, with all the crappy news I deliver on this site, I thought I’d add a little note of optimism.
