Bariloche the town isn’t all that great. Very touristy. A little schlocky. A few good restaurants, lots of hostels, and some spas. Just outside of town there are two cool mountaintop cafes (you have to take a lift to get to them) and the Llau Llau, one of the most luxurious hotels in the world (more on that later). Bariloche is basically a stop for people on their way to ski in the Andes. It does offer some magnificent views, though. Here are some shots from our 2 1/3 days there.
