More than half of Americans now depend on the government for their livelihood. This, as you might guess, is bad.

An ongoing problem: Parolees being sent back to prison despite not being convicted of an actual crime. I realize most people don’t naturally sympathize with parolees. But if a parolee can be sent back to prison despite not actually having done anything wrong, what’s the point in even having parole?
