A narcotics officer involved and wounded in the Atlanta raid that killed 88-year-old Kathryn Johnston is now retiring. My hunch is that as this investigation continues, we’ll see many of the remaining six officers find another line of work.
Steven Blackman, a man wrongly raided by Ft. Worth police in June of last year says the city hasn’t adequately paid for the damage done to his health and his home. Police looking for a drug suspect broke down Blackman’s door, deployed tear gas inside, and slashed the tires to his vehicle. They had the wrong house.
