CNN Shamelessly Exploits O.J. Murders

Wednesday, November 15th, 2006

Okay, so I was wrong about CNN in the post below. But I’m really outraged at this. CNN is apparently planning to pay O.J. Simpson $3.5 million to discuss his revolting new book If I Did It in a prime time interview. What a contemptuous display of corporate greed. Anything for ratings, eh, CNN?

You can bet I’ll be tuning in to Sean Hannity’s radio show tonight — not to mention the O’Reilly Factor — to see my two favorite pillars of moral rectitude put my anger into words, as they do so often, and so eloquently. Shame on you, CNN. Have you no dignity?

Eh? It’s Fox News doing the interview? Nooooo. Really?

Well, shit.

Nevermind.

This does bring up an important question, though. Why is O.J. worth more than Steve Centani?

CORRECTION: The $3.5 million Simpson’s getting is in book royalties. It isn’t clear if or how much Fox is paying for the interview. Apologies for the error, but not the sarcasm.
