Scott Adams Speaks
Saturday, October 28th, 2006The Dilbert creator relays a truly remarkable storyon his blog. Adams was diagnosed with a rare disorder that caused him to lose the ability to speak. Dismissing experts who told him no one had ever recovered from the condition, Adams used a nursery rhyme to reconfigure own neurology, basically reteaching his brain how to speak. I’d imagine he has also inspired a course of therapy for others with the condition.
One the more fascinating things I’ve read in a while.
