My New Gig

I’m movin’ on.

At the end of this month, I’ll be joining Reason magazine as a senior editor. I’ll be overseeing the magazine’s website, as well as writing feature stories, and contributing blurbs, book reviews and helping to edit the magazine. It’s a great opportunity for me to do some more journalism-ism writing and reporting. More Cory Maye-type stuff.

Cato has been a terrific experience. I have nothing but good things to say about my time here, particularly the last 2 1/2 years. I think I also learned more in my first two years here than I did in all of undergrad and my year of law school. It’s a smart, principled, exciting place to work. I plan to become a donor shortly after I leave.

But Reason offers a lot that Cato can’t. Lots of new challenges, and the chance try some different, less-wonkish types of writing. I’m excited to get started.
