Yesterday marked the fourth anniversary of the death of Clayton Helriggle, killed in a botched, no-knock rug raid on the Preble County, Ohio group house he shared with some friends. Police found a miniscule amount of marijuana. Helriggle was shot as he descended a stair case upon hearing the commotion of the SWAT team entering the home. Police say he was holding a gun. His family says he was holding a blue cup. Either way, there’s no reason for him to be dead.

Helriggle is one of the featured case studies in Overkill. The details of his death only grow more aggravating from those above.
