So while blog reaction to the paper has been pretty satisfying, media coverage has been spare. I did a Pacifica News interview yesterday, and that’s really about it so far. Perhaps things will pick up next week. The paper did get some nice coverage before it was released, so I guess I shouldn’t get greedy.

Since Monday, people have sent me 20-25 accounts of botched raids that either I missed in my research, or that happened to them and weren’t covered by the media at all. I suspect there will be more of that. I guess the question is what to do with those accounts. This site has served as something of a clearinghouse for botched raids for the last several months. And while I’m happy with that role, I also don’t want the vibe around here to get too overhwelmingly depressing. Maybe I’ll just post a couple a week. That might also serve to overcome the numbing effect I think some people get when reading lots of accounts of botched raids at once.
