Black Jack, Missouri (see prior story here) is moving forward with plans to evict a couple and their three kids from their home because the couple, who have been together 13 years, aren’t married.

The city council just rejected a bill that would have granted an exemption to unmarried couples. Note, this isn’t a private landlord evicting the family. It’s the town, evicting the family from the city limits.
