…this week is on immigration. As you might guess, email is already coming in fast and angry.

Here are two particularly sweet examples:

Why is it that you media types want to paint these illegal aliens as the victims of poor laws, etc. You are so full of bull on this. We, Americans are footing the bill for some restaurant to have a dishwasher or some strawberry grower can have cheap labor to pick strawberries. We don’t need a bunch of underclass people sucking up the tax money that we are paying so that they are subsidized. We Americans are the victims of this crime. It is NOT a victimless crime. We are paying everyday. This will be the downfall of our country. I can tell by your name, Balko, that your family probably didn’t do much to build this country and now you feel sorry for poor immigrants that sneak in. If someone broke into your house and sat at your dinner table would you think he was part of your family? You’re an idiot.
