I guess it’s because I run this site, but for some reason, I get a few emails a month from people mistaking me for Morgan Spurlock. Always amuses me. Here’s one I received today:

Morgan,

I hope this email reaches you…I wanted to take time out today to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have a daughter who is quite fit but wishes to have her McDonald’s every Friday. This constitutes as her treat for the week since she works out everyday she believes she burns the fat and calories that she eats at McD’s. Nichole is an athlete and stays in great shape and I keep telling her that McDonalds is just crap. She never would listen to my husband or myself. I am guilty of eating there myself once in a while

Anyway, she is a freeman in high school and happens to have health this semester. Guess what they showed the class this past week? You guessed it. Needless to say when I picked her up from school the first words out of her mouth were “I will never eat at McDonalds again!!” She informed me of the film they were told to watch and all I kept thinking was, what a great man to sacrifice his body to save our kids.

All I keep thinking about are the other students that don’t work out as much as Nichole but still eat all that crap. They are fighting this uphill battle against the food chains. But again, Thank you for taking such a leap of faith and completing your task.
