So I downloaded the new iPod software update the other day, per instructions from iTunes.

Now, somehow, the new software completely wiped out my song ratings and play count data.

Not only that, but it assigned random ratings and playcounts to my entire library

Didn’t screw up my songs or my playlists. Still, pretty frustrating.

Anyone know what happened?
