Halftime Hijinx
Friday, February 3rd, 2006ABC will apparently tape-delay this year’s Super Bowl halftime show, fearing any futher “wardrobe malfunctions.” Given that this year’s halftime entertainment is the Rolling Stones and Aretha Franklin, I would think that football fans the world over would applaud in appreciation.
On an unrelated note, the Tony Kornheiser show this morning was reviewing Super Bowl acts from years past. Turns out that 1993 was a very special year. The celebrity coin-toss that year was performed by O.J. Simpson. And the halftime show? Michael Jackson, performing with “3,500 Los Angeles-area children.”
Yikes.
