Just saw your post about Dr. Trabucco. As one of his former patients, I was initially distressed with his resignation and the initial reports.

[...]

I used to live in Columbus, IN, where he was a member of a urologic clinic. I had a kidney stone during that time, and Dr. Trabucco was nothing but professional in all my dealings with him. His thorough analysis of my situation and subsequent dietary suggestions have prevented my problems from recurring, and I greatly appreciate that.

I’m glad that his side of the story is finally coming out, but it’s a shame it took eight months for that to happen.

See articles on Trabucco’s original arrest here and here. Scroll down a bit on the first link to get to a clip from the AP article:

OLUMBUS, Ind. — Police say an intercepted order of marijuana seeds prompted investigators to arrest a Columbus doctor and his wife on drug possession charges, RTV6 reported Friday.

Investigators found more than 30 marijuana plants in the home of Dr. Arnaldo Trabucco and Pamela Trabucco, police said.

Authorities searched the home after customs agents in Chicago intercepted a package of marijuana seeds from England. Police said they believe the Trabuccos had ordered the seeds on the Internet.

The case will be examined by the Bartholomew County prosecutor’s office, RTV6 reported.

So they snooped through the mail of a certified doctor with a sick wife in order to bust him for the crime of obtaining the medicine she needed to relieve her pain. Yeah. Sounds like just the kind of guy we ought to be locking up.
